We work with schools and organizations whose student population is 90% low-income. Our programs are offered for free and on a sliding scale model.

VOLUNTEER WITH US
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for folks to help youth get started in life.
PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS
Program Volunteers join us during programs to help set up, facilitate programs, and serve as positive role models for youth. Our programs are offered during the week after school and on Saturday mornings. Each volunteer shift lasts 2 hours and requires in-person participation.
ORGANIZATION SUPPORTERS
Organization Supporters help behind the scenes to bring Just Gettin' Started's vision to life. These opportunities are ideal for skills-based professionals (marketers, accountants, book-keepers, admin assistants, etc) looking to donate their talents virtually.
JUNIOR BOARD
Our Junior Board is launching January 2025! The Junior Board empowers young professionals to champion our mission through fundraising, volunteering, and advocacy. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for recent grads looking for a fun and exciting way to do some good, while also making new friends. Junior Board members will commit about 2 hours per month, attend quarterly board meetings, and serve one-year terms.
